Bradley J Fetchet 9/11 Endowed Scholarship

In Honor of Bradley Fetchet, NCHS graduate

Brad Fetchet, a 1995 graduate of New Canaan High School, was a beloved teammate and captain of both the ice hockey and lacrosse teams. Sadly, at the age of 24, Brad lost his life in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. To honor his memory, his parents Frank and Mary Fetchet established the Bradley J. Fetchet 9/11 Endowed Scholarship, inspired by the friendships, coaches, and mentors who shaped his time at NCHS. This need-based scholarship supports students who reflect Brad’s spirit - his understated leadership, enthusiasm, curiosity, kindness, love of life and devotion to family and friends.  A quote found in Brad’s journal best describes his values: “You can tell the character of a man by what he does for the man that can offer him nothing.”
